Well, it would be better if I could read the newspaper .. but maybe say something like "Alcoholism affects more than the alcohol, which affects everyone around alcoholics." or maybe you have different points of alcoholism, which is .. one might say, "__, __ and __ are all signs of alcoholism." or perhaps, "There are countless ways to get help for alcoholism, as Alcoholics Anonymous, rehabilitation centers, and even organizations that are in their own city. "
